Dr Sita Arjune is a clinician-scientist at the University Hospital of Cologne. She holds a PhD in biochemistry and a medical degree from the Medical Faculty of the University of Cologne. Dr Arjune is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the CECAD Cluster of Excellence at the University of Cologne. Her research focuses on the identification of novel therapeutic strategies and metabolic interventions for the treatment and prevention of ADPKD. Moreover, Dr Arjune has a special interest in rare disease research. She is enrolled in the ERKNet Postgraduate Curriculum in Rare Kidney Diseases (2023-2025) in order to earn the ERKNet certificate "Rare Kidney Disease Specialist."
