Peter Bárány has a position as Senior Physician in Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden serving in both the pediatric and adult nephrology units. He has an academic affiliation as Associate Professor in Nephrology at the Department of Clinical Science, Intervention and Technology (CLINTEC), Karolinska Institutet. Current research interests include clinical and epidemiological studies of CKD patients at all stages, both in children and adults. Dr Bárány has published more than 200 original articles and about 25 reviews and book chapters and tutors Ph.D students in nephrology. He is a member of national and international nephrology societies and serves as subject editor and reviewer for several nephrology journals.
